The Revised Grail Psalm Translation

The Revised Grail Psalm translation has been authorized for use in Roman Catholic liturgies. While it is not mandatory, church musicians, clergy and assemblies will begin to notice the translation in place for the Responsorial Psalm in English language hymnals and missalettes.
GIA Publications is making the translation available (see photo); you can find out more about the translation or order it here.
Marty has teamed with David Haas to re-issue their popular Psalms for the Church Year with the Revised Grail translation in a collection entitled
I Will Bless the Lord at All Times. This collection mirrors the settings of the original Psalms for the Church Year, adapting the text with both metrical and chant verses with the revised version. Together with Tony Alonso Marty is currently in the midst of a project entitled Lyric Psalter. This project will set all the Responsorial Psalms for all three cycles of the readings for Sunday, as well as the various Solemnities with the new revised Grail texts. The first two volumes--Solemnities and Cycle "C"--will be available in recorded and printed versions by July, 2012. You can see a sample setting here.
